After years of relentless building, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Omni Core mainnet. This moment isn’t just about Omni — it’s about delivering on Ethereum’s original promise: a unified, composable, and accessible network for developers and users alike.

The Internet of blockchains can hardly be called a "Web" if users must constantly manage direct interactions with countless distinct chains. Thousands of chains create a maze of wallets, balances, and identities, making the experience for both users and developers increasingly overwhelming.

Omni is almost live on mainnet and is positioned to UNF*CK ETHEREUM. With this launch, we’re taking our first steps towards our mission: to make the Ethereum ecosystem feel like a single chain again.

Two years ago, we set out to solve one of Ethereum’s most pressing challenges: rollup fragmentation. While rollups have unlocked unprecedented scalability for Ethereum, they’ve also introduced a complex web of barriers for both developers and users.

In October 2024, our team identified and reported a critical vulnerability in CometBFT, specifically within the implementation of ABCI 2.0's Vote Extensions. This flaw has since been patched and publicly disclosed in GitHub Security Advisory GHSA-p7mv-53f2-4cwj. Our team member, Corver, was credited with discovering and reporting this exploit.
